Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup pitted Medjool dates
- 1/2 cup peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips (semi-sweet or milk chocolate)
Instructions
- Step 1: Add pitted Medjool dates to a food processor and pulse until they form a sticky paste. This may take several pulses, scraping down the sides as needed.
- Step 2: Add the peanut butter to the food processor and pulse until well combined with the dates. The mixture should be relatively smooth but still slightly sticky.
- Step 3: Stir in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
- Step 4: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls using your hands or a spoon.
- Step 5: Place the date snickers balls onto a plate or baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow them to firm up before serving.
Notes
- Store your 3-Ingredient Date Snickers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain their freshness and prevent them from drying out.
- For a warm, gooey treat, microwave individual Date Snickers for 5-10 seconds, or until softened to your liking.
- Serve these delightful bites alongside a cup of strong coffee or tea for a perfect afternoon pick-me-up, or add them to your trail mix for an energy boost on the go.
- If your date paste is too dry, add a teaspoon of milk or water to the food processor to achieve the desired consistency and prevent the mixture from being crumbly.
