Delicious air fryer corn ribs recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ears of corn, husks removed
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped cilantro or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Carefully cut each ear of corn lengthwise into quarters. To do this, stand the corn upright and use a sharp knife to slice down the center, then repeat on each half to create four "ribs" from each ear.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the corn ribs with olive oil, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Make sure the corn is evenly coated.
  3. Step 3: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Step 4: Place the corn ribs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd. You may need to cook them in batches.
  5. Step 5: Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the corn is tender and slightly charred.
  6. Step 6: Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley, if desired. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftover corn ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat corn ribs in the air fryer at 350°F (175°C) for a few minutes to regain their crispy texture.
  • Serve these corn ribs with a cool and creamy dipping sauce like avocado crema or lime-cilantro aioli for a refreshing contrast.
  • Chef's tip: For extra flavor, try grilling the corn briefly before air frying to add smoky depth.
