  • Cod fillets: 1.5 pounds
  • Salt pork, diced: 4 ounces
  • Onion, thinly sliced: 1 medium

  • Dry mustard: 1 teaspoon
  • Ketchup: 2 tablespoons
  • Water: 1/2 cup

Notes

  • Refrigerate leftovers promptly in an airtight container and enjoy within 2 days.
  • Gently reheat baked cod in a 300°F oven to prevent drying, adding a splash of water or broth if needed.
  • Serve Boston Baked Cod with a side of creamy mashed potatoes or crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
  • For a richer flavor, try browning the diced salt pork in a pan before layering it on top of the cod.
