Ingredients
- Frozen Tater Tots: 20 ounces
- Frozen Broccoli Florets: 10 ounces
- Cheddar Cheese, shredded: 1 1/2 cups
- Cream Cheese, softened: 4 ounces
- Milk: 1/4 cup
- Garlic Powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Black Pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Spread the frozen tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until heated through and lightly golden, flipping halfway through.
- Step 2: While the tater tots are baking, steam or microwave the broccoli florets until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Roughly chop the cooked broccoli into smaller pieces.
- Step 3: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Step 4: Gently stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and chopped broccoli into the cream cheese mixture.
- Step 5: Remove the tater tots from the oven. Evenly spread the broccoli and cheese mixture over the top of the baked tater tots.
- Step 6: Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Serve immediately.
Notes
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For best results, reheat in a toaster oven or air fryer to re-crisp the tater tots.
- Serve these cheesy tots as a fun side dish or appetizer with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or sriracha mayo.
- Don't overcrowd the baking sheet; for crispier tots, bake in batches if needed to ensure even browning.
