- 1 large head broccoli, cut into florets
- 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Spread the broccoli in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 4: Roast for 15-20 minutes, or until broccoli is tender and slightly browned.
- Step 5: While the broccoli is roasting, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Step 6: Remove the broccoli from the oven and transfer it to a serving bowl. Pour the garlic butter over the broccoli, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and lemon juice (if using). Toss to combine and serve immediately.

- Store leftover Buttered Parmesan Broccoli in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat the broccoli in a skillet over medium heat for best results, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying out.
