Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cans (16 ounces each) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cup bundt pan.
- Step 2: Cut each biscuit into quarters. In a large bowl, combine the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Step 3: Add the biscuit pieces to the butter mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Step 4: Sprinkle about 1/3 of the mozzarella cheese into the bottom of the prepared bundt pan. Arrange half of the coated biscuit pieces over the cheese. Sprinkle with another 1/3 of the cheese, then top with the remaining biscuit pieces and the remaining cheese.
- Step 5: Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Let cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes before inverting onto a serving plate. Serve warm.
Notes
- Store any leftover monkey bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
- Reheat slices individually in the microwave for 20-30 seconds, or in a 350°F oven for about 5 minutes, to restore cheesy, garlicky goodness.
- Serve this cheesy garlic monkey bread as a crowd-pleasing appetizer or a savory side dish with your favorite Italian meal.
- For extra flavor, use garlic-infused butter instead of plain melted butter in the coating mixture.
