Delicious cheesy italian spinach bake recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

Ingredients

  • Frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry: 10 ounces
  • Ricotta cheese: 15 ounces
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Grated Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup
  • Shredded mozzarella cheese: 1 1/2 cups
  • Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the squeezed spinach, ricotta cheese, eggs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix well until everything is evenly combined.
  3. Step 3: Spread half of the spinach mixture into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese.
  4. Step 4: Spread the remaining spinach mixture evenly over the mozzarella cheese.
  5. Step 5: Top with the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella cheese.
  6. Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bake is heated through. Let stand for 5-10 minutes before serving.

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave or bake in a low oven until warmed through.
