- 1 pound green beans, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound turkey bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/4 cup French fried onions
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Step 2: Steam or boil the green beans until tender-crisp, about 5-7 minutes. Drain well.
- Step 3: In a large bowl, combine the drained green beans, olive oil, crumbled turkey bacon, condensed cream of mushroom soup, milk, and 1/2 cup of the shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well. Season with black pepper.
- Step 4: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 5: Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and the French fried onions over the top.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
