  • 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 box (6 oz) Stuffing mix
  • 1/2 cup Butter, melted
  • 1 can (10.75 oz) Cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Chopped onion
  • 1/4 tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix and melted butter. Toss to coat. Set aside 1/2 cup of the mixture for topping.
  3. Step 3: In another bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, milk, sour cream, onion, and pepper.
  4. Step 4: Spread half of the stuffing mixture in the prepared baking dish. Top with the chicken pieces, then spread the soup mixture evenly over the chicken.
  5. Step 5: Sprinkle the remaining stuffing mixture over the top.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat individual portions in the microwave, adding a splash of milk if the stuffing seems dry.
  • Serve with a side of steamed green beans or a crisp garden salad for a complete meal.
