Delicious chocolate cheesecake brownie bars recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour: 1 cup
  • Granulated sugar: 1 cup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder: ½ cup
  • Baking powder: ½ teaspoon
  • Salt: ¼ teaspoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Melted butter: ½ cup
  • Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Add eggs and melted butter to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Do not overmix. Pour batter into prepared pan.
  4. Step 4: In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Add a ¼ cup of granulated sugar and mix until combined. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie batter.
  5. Step 5: Use a knife or toothpick to swirl the cream cheese mixture into the brownie batter to create a marbled effect.
  6. Step 6: Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Let cool completely before cutting into bars.

Notes

  • To prevent the bars from drying out, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
  • For a warm, gooey treat, microwave individual bars for 10-15 seconds before serving.
  • These bars are delicious on their own, but a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce elevates them to dessert heaven.
  • Chef's tip: For a richer chocolate flavor, bloom the cocoa powder by whisking it with hot water (about 2 tablespoons) before adding it to the dry ingredients.
