Delicious cinnamon roll bunnies recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (13 oz) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Candy eyes or chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly flour a clean work surface. Gently unroll the cinnamon roll dough onto the floured surface.
  2. Step 2: Mix the melted butter, granulated sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Spread this mixture evenly over the unrolled cinnamon roll dough.
  3. Step 3: Roll the dough back up tightly into a log. Cut the log into 1-inch thick slices. Gently pinch one side of each slice to form bunny ears.
  4. Step 4: Arrange the bunny rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  5. Step 5: While the rolls are baking, whisk together the milk and powdered sugar to form a glaze. Once the rolls have cooled slightly, drizzle with glaze and add candy eyes or chocolate chips to create the bunny faces.

Notes

  • Store cooled leftover bunnies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
  • For a warm and gooey treat, microwave individual bunnies for 15-20 seconds before serving.
  • These cinnamon roll bunnies are especially cute served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  • To prevent the ears from unfolding during baking, lightly press them down onto the baking sheet before placing in the oven.
