Delicious cinnamon roll bunnies recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (13 ounces) refrigerated cinnamon roll dough
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour, for dusting
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • Black decorating gel

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  2. Step 2: On a lightly floured surface, unroll each cinnamon roll and separate the individual rolls.
  3. Step 3: For each bunny, cut a roll in half. Shape each half into a long rope, tapering one end to a point to form the bunny's ears. Form the remaining uncut rolls into a round shape for the bunny's head, pinching the edges together.
  4. Step 4: Brush the baking sheet with melted butter. Mix together granulated sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle some on each bunny shape. Place the bunny heads and ears on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring space in between each.
  5. Step 5: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  6. Step 6: While baking, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth to make a glaze. Once baked, drizzle glaze on warm bunnies. Use black decorating gel to create eyes and a nose.

Notes

  • Store leftover bunnies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days to keep them soft.
  • Reheat your bunny in the microwave for 10-15 seconds to restore that warm, gooey goodness.
  • Serve these adorable bunnies with a side of fresh berries and whipped cream for an extra special treat.
  • For extra fluffy ears, gently roll the dough ropes between your palms rather than pressing down hard.
