Ingredients
- Chicken breasts: 1.5 lbs
- Chicken broth: 6 cups
- Heavy cream: 1 cup
- Gnocchi: 1 (16 ounce) package
- Onion, chopped: 1 medium
- Garlic, minced: 2 cloves
- Italian seasoning: 1 tablespoon
- Parmesan cheese, grated: 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: Place chicken breasts, chicken broth, chopped onion, minced garlic, and Italian seasoning in a slow cooker.
- Step 2: Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and easily shredded.
- Step 3: Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
- Step 4: Stir in the gnocchi and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until the gnocchi are tender.
- Step 5: Stir in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Heat through. Do not boil.
- Step 6: Serve hot and enjoy!

- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat gently on the stovetop over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, or in the microwave in 30-second intervals.
