Instructions
- Step 1: In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Step 2: Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined and smooth.
- Step 3: Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping and milk until fully incorporated. Be careful not to overmix.
- Step 4: Stir in the mini chocolate chips.
- Step 5: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
- Step 6: Serve the dip with assorted cookies and fresh berries for dipping.
Notes
- Store leftover dip in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days, but the texture may change slightly.
- This dip is best served cold, so no reheating is necessary, but you can stir it briefly if it separates after refrigeration.
- For an extra touch of spring, garnish the dip with pastel sprinkles or edible flowers before serving alongside your cookies and berries.
- Cream cheese should be fully softened to avoid lumps, so leave it out at room temperature for at least an hour before mixing.
