  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: While spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Step 3: Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  4. Step 4: Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, oregano, and basil. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Step 5: Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and stir to combine.
  6. Step 6: Transfer spaghetti mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  7. Step 7: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
