- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (24 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
- 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Step 2: While spaghetti is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Step 3: Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Step 4: Stir in spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, oregano, and basil. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Step 5: Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce and stir to combine.
- Step 6: Transfer spaghetti mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
- Step 7: Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Reheat individual portions in the microwave for quick and easy enjoyment.
- Serve with a side of crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce during simmering.
