- 1.5 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch strips
- 1/2 cup Light brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Turkey bacon bits
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 1/4 tsp Black pepper
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking sheet with olive oil or cooking spray.
- Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.
- Step 3: Add the chicken strips to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the brown sugar mixture. Ensure all pieces are well coated.
- Step 4: Spread the chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Sprinkle the turkey bacon bits evenly over the chicken.
- Step 5: Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
