Delicious easy no-bake moose farts recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional)
  • 1/4 cup milk (or more, as needed)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the peanut butter and powdered sugar. Mix thoroughly until well combined. The mixture will be quite thick.
  2. Step 2: Stir in the quick-cooking oats, chocolate chips, and butterscotch chips. If using, add the shredded coconut.
  3. Step 3: Gradually add milk, one tablespoon at a time, mixing until the mixture reaches a consistency that allows you to easily roll it into balls. You may not need all the milk.
  4. Step 4: Roll the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter).
  5. Step 5: Place the finished "Moose Farts" on a plate or wax paper to set. They will firm up as they sit. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to fully set.

Notes

  • Store these delightful treats in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain their freshness.
  • For a slightly softer texture, let them sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
  • Serve these Moose Farts alongside a glass of cold milk for a truly satisfying treat, or add them to your favorite ice cream sundae.
  • To prevent the mixture from becoming too sticky, add the milk very gradually and mix thoroughly between additions.
