Delicious garlic butter beef bites with potatoes recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes: 1 pound
  • Baby potatoes, quartered: 1 pound
  • Garlic, minced: 4 cloves
  • Butter, unsalted: 4 tablespoons
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley, chopped: 2 tablespoons
  • Salt: 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper: 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the quartered baby potatoes with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper on a baking sheet. Spread in a single layer and roast for 20 minutes.
  2. Step 2: While the potatoes are roasting, prepare the beef. In a large bowl, toss the beef sirloin cubes with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Step 3: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef cubes to the hot skillet and sear on all sides until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  4. Step 4: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
  5. Step 5: Add the seared beef and roasted potatoes to the skillet with the garlic butter. Toss to coat everything evenly.
  6. Step 6: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For best results, reheat the beef bites and potatoes in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of beef broth or water if needed to prevent drying.
  • Serve these savory bites as an appetizer or a satisfying main course alongside a simple green salad.
  • Don't overcrowd the skillet when searing the beef to ensure a good sear on all sides; work in batches if necessary.
