Delicious garlic parmesan bowtie pasta with creamy beef recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Bowtie pasta: 1 pound
  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
  • Heavy cream: 1 cup
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Italian seasoning: 1 teaspoon
  • Salt and pepper: to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook the bowtie pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
  2. Step 2: While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  3. Step 3: Add the minced garlic and Italian seasoning to the skillet with the ground beef. Cook for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat. If the sauce is too thick, add a little of the reserved pasta water until it reaches your desired consistency.
  6. Step 6: Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese, if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Reheat gently over low heat on the stovetop, adding a splash of milk or cream if needed to loosen the sauce.
  • This pasta is delicious served with a simple side salad and some crusty bread for soaking up the creamy sauce.
  • Don't overcook the pasta, as it will continue to cook slightly in the sauce, and be sure to grate the Parmesan finely for the smoothest sauce.
