Ingredients
- Ground beef: 1 pound
- Onion, chopped: 1 medium
- Tomato sauce: 1 (15 ounce) can
- Cream of mushroom soup: 1 (10.75 ounce) can
- Frozen mixed vegetables: 1 (16 ounce) bag
- Shredded cheddar cheese: 1 cup
- Cooked egg noodles: 8 ounces
- Salt and pepper: to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a large skillet, brown ground beef over medium-high heat. Drain off any excess grease. Add chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
- Step 3: Stir in the tomato sauce, cream of mushroom soup, frozen mixed vegetables, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
- Step 4: Add the cooked egg noodles to the skillet and stir to combine all ingredients.
- Step 5: Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the casserole is heated through.
