Ingredients
- Oreo cookies, crushed: 1 1/2 cups
- Butter, melted: 6 tablespoons
- Cream cheese, softened: 8 ounces
- Powdered sugar: 1 cup
- Cool Whip, thawed: 8 ounces
- Instant chocolate pudding mix: 3.9 ounces
- Milk: 1 3/4 cups
- Halloween sprinkles: For garnish
Instructions
- Step 1: Combine crushed Oreo cookies and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Gently fold in half of the Cool Whip. Spread this mixture evenly over the Oreo crust.
- Step 3: In another bowl, whisk together instant chocolate pudding mix and milk until thickened. Spread this pudding layer over the cream cheese layer.
- Step 4: Spread the remaining Cool Whip over the pudding layer.
- Step 5: Sprinkle Halloween sprinkles over the top.
- Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving. This allows the layers to set properly.
Notes
- Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; the Oreo crust might soften slightly, but it will still be delicious.
- This lush is best served chilled, so reheating isn't recommended – it's meant to be a cool treat!
- Garnish each slice with extra Halloween sprinkles or a dollop of whipped cream for an extra festive presentation.
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate pudding mix instead of regular instant chocolate pudding.
