- Chicken breasts, boneless and skinless: 1.5 lbs
- Honey: 1/4 cup
- BBQ sauce: 1/2 cup
- Paprika: 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Onion powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1/4 teaspoon
- Black pepper: 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Step 1: Cut the chicken breasts into strips, approximately 1 inch wide and 3-4 inches long.
- Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the honey, BBQ sauce, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
- Step 3: Add the chicken strips to the bowl with the sauce and toss to coat evenly. Marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
- Step 4: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Step 5: Arrange the marinated chicken strips in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- Step 6: Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
