Delicious honey garlic butter shrimp and broccoli: an incredible one-pan wonder recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 head broccoli, cut into florets
  • 4 tablespoons butter, unsalted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). In a large oven-safe skillet or baking sheet, toss broccoli florets with 1 tablespoon of melted butter, salt, and pepper. Spread in an even layer.
  2. Step 2: Bake the broccoli for 10 minutes, until it begins to soften.
  3. Step 3: While broccoli is baking, in a small bowl, whisk together the remaining 3 tablespoons of melted butter, minced garlic, honey, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  4. Step 4: Remove the skillet from the oven and add the shrimp to the skillet with the broccoli. Pour the honey garlic butter sauce over the shrimp and broccoli, ensuring everything is evenly coated.
  5. Step 5: Return the skillet to the oven and bake for another 8-10 minutes, or until the shrimp is pink and cooked through, and the broccoli is tender-crisp.

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
  • For best results, reheat gently in a skillet over medium-low heat, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying.
  • Serve over rice or quinoa to soak up all that delicious honey garlic butter sauce.
  • Don't overcrowd the pan; for crispier broccoli and evenly cooked shrimp, use a larger baking sheet or split the recipe into two batches.
