Ingredients
Scale
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans (optional)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Step 1: Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the fudge out later.
- Step 2: In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, semi-sweet chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, butter, and salt. Stir frequently until the chocolate is completely melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- Step 3: Gently fold in half of the mini marshmallows and half of the chopped pecans (if using). Pour half of the chocolate mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
- Step 4: Sprinkle the remaining mini marshmallows and pecans (if using) evenly over the first layer. Pour the remaining chocolate mixture over the marshmallows and spread to create a swirled effect.
- Step 5: Refrigerate the fudge for at least 4 hours, or until firm. Lift the fudge out of the dish using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- Store your Marshmallow Swirl Fudge in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week to maintain its delicious, melt-in-your-mouth texture.
- For a wonderfully gooey experience, microwave individual squares for 10-15 seconds before serving – be careful not to overheat!
- Serve this decadent fudge with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a drizzle of salted caramel for an extra special treat.
- To prevent the marshmallows from sticking to your spoon while mixing, lightly grease your spoon with butter or cooking spray.
