Delicious mexican cuisine recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 packet Taco Seasoning
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 12 Corn Tortillas
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1/2 head Lettuce, shredded
  • 1/4 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
  2. Step 2: Stir in taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed.
  3. Step 3: Warm corn tortillas according to package directions.
  4. Step 4: Fill each tortilla with the ground beef mixture.
  5. Step 5: Top with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream.

Notes

  • Store leftover taco meat separately from the tortillas and toppings to prevent soggy tacos.
  • For best results, reheat the taco meat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying.
  • Serve with a side of Mexican rice and refried beans for a complete and satisfying meal.
  • Don't be afraid to experiment with different toppings – avocado, pickled onions, or a squeeze of lime can add a burst of fresh flavor!
