Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 packet Taco Seasoning
- 1 cup Salsa
- 12 Corn Tortillas
- 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- 1/2 head Lettuce, shredded
- 1/4 cup Sour Cream
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart with a spoon, until browned. Drain off any excess grease.
- Step 2: Stir in taco seasoning and 1/2 cup of water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed.
- Step 3: Warm corn tortillas according to package directions.
- Step 4: Fill each tortilla with the ground beef mixture.
- Step 5: Top with shredded lettuce, cheddar cheese, salsa, and a dollop of sour cream.
Notes
- Store leftover taco meat separately from the tortillas and toppings to prevent soggy tacos.
- For best results, reheat the taco meat in a skillet over medium heat, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying.
- Serve with a side of Mexican rice and refried beans for a complete and satisfying meal.
- Don't be afraid to experiment with different toppings – avocado, pickled onions, or a squeeze of lime can add a burst of fresh flavor!
