Delicious patriotic lasagna dessert recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Graham crackers: 1 box (about 14.4 oz)
  • Cream cheese: 8 oz, softened
  • Powdered sugar: 1 cup
  • Cool Whip: 16 oz, divided
  • Fresh strawberries: 1 pint, sliced
  • Fresh blueberries: 1 pint
  • Milk: 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla extract: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and 8 oz of Cool Whip. Beat until smooth and creamy.
  2. Step 2: Lightly dip graham crackers in milk for a few seconds and arrange them in a single layer on the bottom of a 9×13 inch dish. This will be your first layer.
  3. Step 3: Spread half of the cream cheese mixture evenly over the graham cracker layer.
  4. Step 4: Arrange a layer of sliced strawberries over the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Step 5: Place another layer of milk-dipped graham crackers on top of the strawberries. Spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the graham crackers.
  6. Step 6: Top with the remaining 8 oz of Cool Whip. Arrange blueberries in a pattern on one half of the dessert and strawberries on the other half to create a patriotic theme. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • Store leftover lasagna dessert covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; it's best enjoyed cold!
  • This dessert doesn't reheat well, as the Cool Whip may melt, so just slice and serve directly from the fridge.
  • For a festive touch, sprinkle a few mini chocolate chips around the red and blue fruit design to resemble stars.
  • Don't over-soak the graham crackers in milk, as they can become soggy – a quick dip is all you need!
