Delicious peanut butter & jelly banana bread recipe recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup grape jelly
  • 1 large ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup milk

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, jelly, mashed banana, egg, and milk. Mix until well combined.
  4. Step 4: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Step 5: Pour batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Step 6: Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

  • Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days, or freeze for longer storage.
  • For a warm, gooey treat, reheat slices briefly in the microwave or toaster oven.
  • Serve warm slices with a dollop of extra peanut butter and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt for an elevated taste experience.
  • To prevent the bread from becoming too dense, avoid overmixing the batter; a few lumps are okay!
