Delicious salted honey pie: a perfect blend of sweet and salty recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons (3 ounces) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Flaky sea salt, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter in a medium bowl. Press mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Let cool completely.
  2. Step 2: In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk, honey, heavy cream, sea salt, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  3. Step 3: Pour the honey mixture into the cooled graham cracker crust.
  4. Step 4: Refrigerate the pie for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the filling to set completely.
  5. Step 5: Before serving, garnish with flaky sea salt, if desired.

Notes

  • Store leftover pie, tightly covered, in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; its flavor actually deepens slightly.
  • For a slightly warmer, more decadent experience, let the pie sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before serving.
  • Serve this pie with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for an extra touch of sweetness and cool contrast.
  • To ensure a perfectly smooth filling, make sure your honey is completely liquid before whisking it in with the other ingredients; gently warming it in a small saucepan might be necessary.
