  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Cooked Rice (preferably day-old): 3 cups
  • Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye), cut into small cubes: 8 oz
  • Shrimp (peeled and deveined): 8 oz
  • Mixed Vegetables (peas, carrots, corn): 1 cup
  • Soy Sauce: 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil: 1 tablespoon
  • Eggs: 2 large
  • Green Onions, chopped: 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Heat 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then remove from the skillet and set aside. Cut into small pieces.
  2. Step 2: Add the remaining sesame oil to the skillet. Add the cubed steak and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak and set aside.
  3. Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Step 4: Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Step 5: Add the cooked rice to the skillet and break it up with a spatula. Pour in the soy sauce and stir-fry until the rice is evenly coated and heated through.
  6. Step 6: Return the steak, shrimp, and scrambled eggs to the skillet. Stir to combine all ingredients. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
