Ingredients
- Cooked Rice (preferably day-old): 3 cups
- Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye), cut into small cubes: 8 oz
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined): 8 oz
- Mixed Vegetables (peas, carrots, corn): 1 cup
- Soy Sauce: 3 tablespoons
- Sesame Oil: 1 tablespoon
- Eggs: 2 large
- Green Onions, chopped: 1/4 cup
Instructions
- Step 1: Heat 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Scramble the eggs until cooked through, then remove from the skillet and set aside. Cut into small pieces.
- Step 2: Add the remaining sesame oil to the skillet. Add the cubed steak and cook until browned on all sides and cooked to desired doneness. Remove steak and set aside.
- Step 3: Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Step 4: Add the mixed vegetables to the skillet and cook until tender-crisp, about 3-5 minutes.
- Step 5: Add the cooked rice to the skillet and break it up with a spatula. Pour in the soy sauce and stir-fry until the rice is evenly coated and heated through.
- Step 6: Return the steak, shrimp, and scrambled eggs to the skillet. Stir to combine all ingredients. Garnish with green onions and serve immediately.
