Delicious spaghetti garlic bread bowls recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

  • Spaghetti: 1 pound
  • Ground beef: 1 pound
  • Garlic: 4 cloves, minced
  • Olive oil: 2 tablespoons
  • Marinara sauce: 24 ounces
  • Italian bread bowls: 4
  • Parmesan cheese: 1/2 cup, grated
  • Dried oregano: 1 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Step 1: Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Step 2: While spaghetti is cooking, brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Step 3: Add minced garlic to the skillet and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Step 4: Stir in marinara sauce and dried oregano. Bring to a simmer and cook for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Step 5: Stir the cooked spaghetti into the meat sauce.
  6. Step 6: Cut a circle out of the top of each bread bowl and hollow out the inside, leaving a 1/2-inch shell. Fill each bread bowl with the spaghetti mixture. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Store leftover spaghetti filling separately from the bread bowls to prevent sogginess.
  • Reheat leftover spaghetti filling in the microwave or on the stovetop, adding a splash of water if needed to prevent drying.
  • Garnish with a sprig of fresh basil or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a pop of color and flavor.
  • For extra flavor, brush the inside of the bread bowls with garlic butter before filling them with spaghetti.
