Delicious strawberry banana pudding dream recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 3 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
  • 2 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a medium bowl, gently combine the sliced strawberries and bananas.
  2. Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, beating until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Step 3: Gently fold in half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
  4. Step 4: Layer the ingredients in a trifle bowl or individual serving dishes: Start with a layer of crushed vanilla wafers, followed by half of the strawberry banana mixture, then half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  5. Step 5: Top with the remaining whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar (optional). Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to chill.

Notes

  • Store leftover Strawberry Banana Pudding Dream in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • For a warm, comforting twist, gently microwave individual servings for 15-20 seconds, but be careful not to overcook.
  • Serve this dreamy pudding in elegant parfait glasses for a sophisticated dessert presentation.
  • To prevent the bananas from browning too quickly, add a squeeze of lemon juice to the sliced bananas before layering.
