Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup heavy cream, whipped
- 2 cups vanilla wafers, crushed
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (optional, for dusting)
Instructions
- Step 1: In a medium bowl, gently combine the sliced strawberries and bananas.
- Step 2: In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth. Gradually add the sweetened condensed milk, beating until well combined. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Step 3: Gently fold in half of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture.
- Step 4: Layer the ingredients in a trifle bowl or individual serving dishes: Start with a layer of crushed vanilla wafers, followed by half of the strawberry banana mixture, then half of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat the layers, ending with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
- Step 5: Top with the remaining whipped cream and dust with powdered sugar (optional). Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to chill.
