Delicious strawberry dirty sprite recipe with detailed instructions and nutritional information.

  • Total Time: 35 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 (12-ounce) can Sprite or lemon-lime soda
  • 1/2 cup vodka (optional, for an alcoholic version)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 45 ice cubes
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • Pinch of salt (optional, enhances sweetness)

Instructions

  1. Step 1: In a blender or food processor, combine the sliced strawberries, lemon juice, sugar (if using), and salt (if using). Blend until smooth.
  2. Step 2: Strain the strawberry mixture through a fine-mesh sieve to remove seeds (optional, but recommended for a smoother drink).
  3. Step 3: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  4. Step 4: Add the vodka (if using) to the glass.
  5. Step 5: Pour the strained strawberry mixture into the glass.
  6. Step 6: Top the glass with Sprite, leaving a little room at the top. Stir gently. Garnish with a strawberry slice, if desired.

Notes

  • For best flavor, chill the finished drink for at least 30 minutes before serving.
  • This drink is best enjoyed immediately; reheating is not recommended as it will flatten the soda.
  • Serve in a mason jar with a fun straw for a summery presentation.
  • To avoid a gritty texture, be sure to thoroughly strain the strawberry puree before adding it to the glass.
