Ingredients
Scale
- Chicken tenders (frozen or fresh) – 6
- Turkey bacon strips – 4
- Ranch dressing – 1/4 cup
- Large flour tortillas – 2
- Cheddar cheese, shredded – 1/2 cup
- Lettuce, shredded – 1 cup
- Vegetable oil – 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper – to taste
Instructions
- Step 1: Cook chicken tenders according to package directions until golden brown and crispy. If using fresh chicken, cook in a pan with vegetable oil over medium heat until fully cooked. Season with salt and pepper.
- Step 2: While chicken is cooking, cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove from skillet and place on paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Step 3: Once chicken tenders are cooked, cut each tender into 2-3 smaller pieces. Crumble the cooked turkey bacon.
- Step 4: Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable.
- Step 5: Spread ranch dressing evenly over each tortilla. Sprinkle with shredded cheddar cheese, followed by shredded lettuce, cooked chicken pieces, and crumbled turkey bacon.
- Step 6: Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll tightly into a wrap. Cut in half and serve immediately.
Notes
- To prevent soggy wraps, store each assembled wrap individually in parchment paper inside an airtight container in the refrigerator.
- For best results when reheating, warm the wraps in a dry skillet over medium-low heat, turning occasionally, until heated through and the tortilla is crisp.
- Serve these wraps with a side of carrot sticks and a small container of extra ranch for dipping.
- For an extra flavor boost, try adding a dash of hot sauce or a sprinkle of your favorite seasoning to the chicken while cooking.
